| Originally from Colchester in
Essex, I have resided in Huntingfield since 1978. I have been working in the
Agricultural Industry
since the 60's. My hobbies are several, but my main interests are Motor
Cycling, Computing and Amateur Radio, and of course, the usual DIY and
garden jobs connected with a household (when I have time!).

Since taking up biking in the 60's, I have owned and ridden the following :- BSA C.11 250, BSA A7 500, Honda 50 (in New Zealand), Honda MTX 200 & 125's, Honda 250 XLS, Honda CBR 600F, Honda Africa Twin 750,Triumph Tiger 900, Triumph Trophy 1200, and my two current bikes, a Honda Varadero 1000 and a 1959 Matchless G11CS 600 Classic. I prefer longer trips on my main bike, and in the last 12 years have been on numerous rides into Europe as far as the Mediterranean travelling through France, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. I belong to the AJS & MOC Club (UK) and the AJS & Matchless Owners Club (East Suffolk Section) which meets on the 2nd Monday of the month and a member of Suffolk Advance Motorcyclists (SAM) meeting every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Fynn Valley Golf Club nr. Ipswich. If you are really into Classic Bikes, a trip to Coupes de Moto Legende at Dijon (used to be Montlhéry), France on the south east side of Paris, is a must. It is usually held at the Circuit Prenois in May each year. I have spoken to Phil Read and John Surtees there, and have seen greats such as Giacomo Agostini, Barry Sheene, Sammy Miller riding there also.
