I have been involved in computing for a number of years cutting my teeth on a 32K BBC B which was based on BBC Basic language and a little later, C/PM. I then migrated to leading edge technology (then) with an Amstrad PC1640 running at 4.7 MHz clock speed and 640K RAM and a 40MB Hard drive. Things moved on through PC's with 286,386,486 processors. Since then computing has moved on at a breath taking pace through 586 and to 686 Processors adding incredible speed and versatility to home computing. I now have a number of computers linked for private (hobby) and business use (unconnected to computing).

Over a period time, I have  been building my own computers to my specifications, therefore eliminating  the need to be at the mercy of the High St. computer giants. I have put together several systems now for friends, and for a  price, I would consider doing the same for others. I have acquired a pretty good ability also to sort out day to day problems which occur by accident, mechanical fault or otherwise and again for a  price, I  would consider undertaking a consultation to effect a cure.

I also have reasonable abilities with Lotus 1-2-3, Microsoft Word, Excel, FrontPage(SharePoint) and PowerPoint and numerous other pieces of software.
